June 2002 - Stalker V6
Welcome to JuneFinished fitting pistons.
Fitted new oil pump, after packing it with petroleum jelly.
Added new oil pump screen
New oil pump shaft and bushing
Refitted oil pan
Put new head gaskets on, fitted heads and tightened down with new Felpro head bolts.
Bought a Holley carb on Ebay!
Bought an Edelbrock intake manifold on Ebay!
Finished fitting valvetrain and set lash on pushrods.
Fitted new manifold, having painted it black.
Bought new clutch and pilot bearing, flywheel bolts.
Fitted pilot bearing after a couple of aborted attempts.
Transmission does not fit properly to engine - half inch gap is left between them!
A few phone calls comparing dimensions of the flywheel shows that mine is just way too thick 
Dennis has a spare one that he will let me try - Thanks!!! (Again I commend factory support!)
Hopefully the new clutch will fit the different flywheel…
Haynes Holley book arrives - carb is dismantled and soaking in cleaner…
Exhaust header parts arrive from Hedman Headers
Completely dismantle, clean and rebuild carb.
The header kit arrives
Edelbrock manifold from EBay!
Holley 4bbl carb from EBay
Now that looks better doesnt it!
