What Happened? Where did the rest of 2007 go? Well, I have lots of excuses. First a family wedding and vacation down in Arizona, then we lost the first of two family members. My father, Reg, passed away in the UK and I spent nearly a month there helping sort out his estate. I finally returned to the US only to have to attend the birth and funeral of Lyla Grace, my step-daughter’s first child who survived a mere 20 minutes.After catching up at work and getting used to a new KLR650 that followed me home from a local bike dealer, 2007 had all but finished.

So 2008 will be the year of my clock! I have re-started work and vow to get this project finished and complete this year. I have a new purpose - to dedicate this clock to my late father as a tribute to the encouragement he gave me during its early stages.

Luckily, my work room is undisturbed and everything is just where I left it. That also means that it is a mess and I’m just about remembering where I was and what I was doing.
